Learn Customer Service using ASL

As part of our new summer series, be prepared to learn how to engage your Deaf customers and provide customer service using sign language.

Customer Service for Deaf customers

We all know Seattle is a great place to play, but it’s also a great place to work. If you’re in the Seattle area, you’re going to have many interactions with Deaf customers. Whether you know sign language or not, there are some ways to make your Deaf customers feel more at ease working with you and your staff.

Join us on July 21st for a workshop in Customer Service, from 7-9pm! We will go over basic signs and ways to interact with Deaf customers, to make their experience a positive one. You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of Deaf culture: allowing you to provide quality service to a wider, more diverse range of customers. We encourage you to bring your administrators as well as your staff to join us for our second summer workshop, and make your business a more accessible one!  This class is created for the beginner sign skills but advanced skills are welcome!
