#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
We are reaching out and asking you for donations to fund American Sign Language interpreters from marginalized communities for Black Lives Matter marches and events. Our crew at Visually Speaking support the Black Lives Matter Movement and want to see these events accessible for the Deaf community.
Donations that we receive will be used to provide a $250 honorarium for well-deserved, certified interpreters and organizations from marginalized communities, DeafBlind interpreters, Certified Deaf interpreters, and BIPOC students enrolled in a Interpreter Training Program. We are asking for your help to move funds into marginalized communities and provide our community with access.
