During this 6-week online sign language class for beginners, you will be learning ASL basics from a Deaf Drag Queen. You’ll get your fingers moving as Miss Zyafirah teaches you how to:
- Fingerspell the ABCs and 123s
- Ask for your crush’s phone number
- Set up times for zoom dates
- Thank essential workers
- Sign the colors of the pride flag
Make the most out of your quarantine by honing your invaluable American Sign Language (ASL) skills. Having a basic grasp on sign language will enhance your ability to interact with people who rely on sign language as their main mode of communication.

COVID-19 may have stopped Visually Speaking from teaching classes in person, but now you can learn American Sign Language from a Drag Queen in the comfort of your own home.
