ASL Class For Parents- starts June 7

Attention parents!

Is your child deaf or hard of hearing?
Are you struggling to connect with your child?

If you’ve been nervously tip-toeing around the edges of the non-hearing world, then this introductory American Sign Language (ASL) class is for you!

This course is specifically tailored for parents of deaf/hard of hearing children and focuses on teaching basic ASL and signing skills needed to communicate, engage, and converse with the deaf world. Classes will include games, fingerspelling, basic conversation skills, and insight into deaf culture. You don’t have to dive into the deep end of ASL – this class aims to make the unfamiliar accessible.

This is a novice sign language class for parents of deaf and hard of hearing children of any age.

Class starts Tuesday June 7th, 2016
